WHAT I WILL COVER AT MY UP COMING INFORMATION PRODUCTS SEMINAR.

My name is Chidi Rodney Akomas and i will be hosting a seminar in May this year. This will be my 2nd seminar . I have been marketing and selling information products for 8 years and i have personally sold close to 200 thousand dollars worth of my own information products. Helped my clients sell a lot of information products as well. Written 3 books on various aspects of marketing information products.Done one seminar prior to this upcoming one. Produced audio and video products for myself and others. Coached hundreds of my subscribers on how to create their own information products.

What i will cover in this seminar.

This is a general outline of what will be covered. However, this agenda is not set in stone:

  1. Introduction. My background and why i should be hosting this seminar. A little history on how i got started with information products and how not to make the mistakes that i did. My different market niches and why you should do the same. The way this seminar is divided, i.e background, product creation, marketing, sales etc.
  2. What is a information product: It is any product or service that you sell to people that provides them with information.
  3. Why sell information products? Simple things to make massive amounts of money even while you sleep. The profit margins are incredible as opposed to other kinds of products. Makes you an expert and an authority in your choosen niche thus generating you the ability to host a seminar.
  4. Selecting a Market. You have to select a niche market depending on your personal background, interests, passion. the niche market must be big enough to warrant your time and effort. How williing are your target group to spend money on your products.
  5. Information product creation. Don't try and make your products perfect, go for perfection and they will never get made. Because people learn different modalities it is wise to develop products they can read, see, hear and feel. Learning how to do things before you start will save you frustration , time and money.
  6. Think price points, not products to start with.Software, cd-roms, seminar, videos, audio cassettes, speaking engagements, home study courses, coaching, bootcamp, consulting etc.
  7. Reports. These can be both digital and physical. Price point under $10, if it is between 7-15 pages. you should give very concentrated information that can be utilised immediately.
  8. Books. You have to understand the basics of book publishing. creating your system for book creation. research, write, print and sell.
  9. Design and create ebooks.why you need to create links in your book. How important your cover is and how to get it done cheap.
  10. Creating audio books and programs. In- studio interviews. How to ensure high quality audio recordings at a seminar. What equipment you should buy for your audio recordings. Editing and if it is necessary.Fufillment and when to do it yourself or outsource it.
  11. Your seminar.Great way to get people to pay to be prospects.

This sounds like a lot of information, i have only touched a bit of what i will cover. There is a lot more which i cannot go into detail in this article but will cover in the seminar. See you there!
